As an Unreal Engine focused studio, we are excited to build our technology based on the latest Unreal Engine 5 features so we are looking for skilled and passionate developers to help us achieve our goals.
To fulfil this mission, we are looking for a talented VFX Artist who is going to play a key role in the development of an upcoming PC & Console game. This is a remote first position and is an exceptional opportunity to become part of an innovative team composed by talented, creative and technically proficient developers.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
As a VFX Artist, you will form a core part of a small but experienced team on a new project. You will have the chance to join us at the early stages of a game and contribute to the shape and direction it takes. You will be responsible for making real-time visual effects that bring games to realty, working with realtime game engines (Unreal Engine), 3D programs, node-based workflows and in-game vfx tools.
Key duties
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the VFX pipeline
- Create high-quality real-time particle effects using both static and animated 2D/3D elements
- Ensure the technical and artistic quality of the project by collaborating with art, design and code teams
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and coders to support gameplay requirements.
- Work with the Rendering team/Technical Art team to improve visual effect quality and performance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Profile
We are looking for an experienced VFX Artist with an aptitude for communication and collaboration who has at least 3 years of experience in the game industry.

Requirements
- Experience in creating real-time vfx using Unreal Engine
- Knowledge of procedural programs such as Houdini and Substance Designer
- Experience with Blueprints and building complex materials
- Stong knowledge of 3D software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya or Blender
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop or other 2D packages
- Knowledge of 2D particle texture creation
- Shipped at least two console and PC game
- Portfolio with some personal work showcases (Demo reel requested)
- Good oral and written communication in English
Nice to have
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Experience in scripting and programming languages
- Experience in photogrammetry and laser scan data acquisition
